Relationship Building Team

Mission: To radically alter divisive social patterns by building genuine relationships across racial, religious, class and cultural differences.

Goal #1

Complete “Breaking the Silence” conversations with the Leadership of City of Rockford and all of the Department Employees by December of 2025.

(Dependent on the Covid 19 restrictions.)

Members of the Relationship Team will lead/participate in projects that promote equity in their individual spheres of influence.

Support and encourage 5 religious organizations and 5 community and civic organizations in equity work by December of 2023.

Build relationships through the arts (music, drama, dance or visual art) with 10 community/faith-based groups who are interested in doing equity work by January 2024.
